Independent: Britons more concerned about violence against women and girls than immigration, poll shows

This week The Independent covered the launch of our new report Unheard, Unsafe, Unequal: Women's Voices in Crisis, leading with one of its most striking findings: that concern about violence against women and girls now sits alongside the NHS and the cost of living as one of Britain's top worries, ahead of both immigration and unemployment.

Speaking to the paper, our Founder and Chair Baroness Geeta Nargund welcomed the government's progress on VAWG but was clear that delivery must now follow. "If women can see and feel that change in their everyday lives over the next year," she said, "then trust can be rebuilt."
